About the project
Create a globally resonant festive moment that would emotionally connect audiences with Qatar Airways — not through traditional ads, but through a piece of content so magical, so cinematic, that people would feel compelled to share it. The goal was to establish Qatar Airways as the most beloved airline of the season, using pure organic reach. We created a surreal, hyper-realistic CGI of a Qatar Airways plane wrapped in glowing golden Christmas lights, parked on a snow-covered runway under snowfall and fireworks. The first video, showing the aircraft framed by terminal windows, looked so real it sparked global buzz: “Is this real?” Days later, we released a follow-up with the plane taking off into the night, completing the emotional arc and igniting a second wave of virality.
